May 2025 Troop meeting
On May 4, Troop 418 held a lively troop meeting that featured a fun-filled recruitment event, welcoming five visitors who joined us for games and activities. In addition to the excitement, the troop conducted its Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) election. Congratulations to Eagle Scout Jayden Huang, who was elected as our next SPL for the upcoming term!


April 2025 Troop meeting
On March 30, 2025, our troop held a memorable meeting at Warm Springs Community Park. We kicked off with an Eagle project presentation, where Scouts provided valuable feedback to help the candidate strengthen his proposal. During the Court of Honor, we celebrated the achievements of our Scouts who earned new ranks, recognizing their hard work and dedication.
To conclude the day, we hosted a special farewell lunch for our senior Scouts aging out, honoring their contributions with a warm celebration. The event was made even sweeter with birthday cake, marking the occasion with laughter, gratitude, and plenty of Scout spirit.



Mar. 2025 Troop meeting
On March 9, 2025, we held our March troop meeting at Warm Springs Community Park. It was a productive gathering with several key highlights. We were honored to welcome our charter organization leaders to visit our meeting. Our troop proudly earned the 100% Families Participation and 100% Goals Achieved awards in the Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign, demonstrating our strong commitment to supporting Scouting. We also presented our troop neckerchiefs. Additionally, we welcomed three visiting Scouts who participated in our well-prepared activities, which focused on first aid and emergency preparedness training.


Feb. 2025 Troop Meeting
On February 9, 2025, Troop 418 held our monthly troop meeting at Warm Springs Community Park. The focus of the meeting was preparing for our upcoming snow camp, with an emphasis on staying warm in cold conditions. We discussed the importance of layering and made sure everyone understood how to properly dress for the trip. Scouts checked their gear to ensure they were ready and safely prepared for the challenges of winter camping.


Jan. 2025 Troop Meeting
Troop 418 held a meeting on January 18, 2025, at Warm Springs Community Park. During the meeting, we demonstrated and taught scouts camping-related skills and practiced setting up a rain fly. We also conducted the troop job swear-in for the new term. Following the meeting, we held a PLC to discuss the annual plan and troop expectations.


Dec. 2024 Troop meeting
On the morning of December 22, Troop 418 proudly held its very first Court of Honor, marking a significant milestone for our troop. During this special event, one Scout advanced to the rank of Life, while two Scouts achieved the pinnacle of Scouting by earning the prestigious rank of Eagle. It was a memorable occasion that celebrated their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the values of Scouting.

Nov. 2024 Troop meeting
Our November troop meeting was held at Warm Springs Community Park on November 17, 2024. During the meeting, we elected Ting Liang Wu as the Senior Patrol Leader for the term starting January 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2025. We also discussed upcoming troop events. To conclude the meeting, we gathered for a group photo with our vibrant new banner.

Oct. 2024 Troop meeting
Troop 418 held a meeting on October 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Warm Springs Community Park. The event focused on personal fitness training, where scouts participated in activities such as a mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and other exercises to work on their fitness goals. Additionally, we conducted a Totin’ Chip training, teaching scouts the skills and safety measures required for using wood tools like knives, axes, and saws.
It was a productive session where scouts gained valuable skills, worked towards their rank advancements, and enjoyed spending time with their fellow scouts in the great outdoors.


Sept. 2024 Troop meeting
On September 15, 2024, we held our September troop meeting at Warm Springs Community Park. We reflected on our popcorn sale and learned valuable marketing strategies. We also conducted a uniform inspection to demonstrate Scout spirit and welcomed our guests with personal introductions. After the meeting, five Scouts worked with Mr. Huang to complete requirements for the Personal Fitness merit badge.

Aug. 2024 Troop meeting
The August troop meeting took place on August 18, 2024, at Warm Springs Community Park. We kicked off with a flag review and a first aid test, followed by navigation training sessions to help new scouts build navigation skills for upcoming hikes. After the meeting, we got creative by designing posters for our popcorn sale and setting our fundraising goal for the year.


July 2024 Troop meeting
Our July troop meeting on July 30, 2024, was a memorable one as we proudly unveiled our new troop flag for the first time! During the meeting, scouts practiced flag ceremonies and introduced newer members to flag etiquette and requirements. With summer break coming to a close, it was the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together, catch up, and plan our upcoming outings as a troop.
